Overview

dot is built lean. We collect no personal data and store nothing that could identify you.

What we don't collect

• Personal information
• Browsing history
• Cookies or tracking IDs
• Page content from sites you visit

Optional anonymous analytics

If you enable usage stats (off by default), dot sends anonymous counts through Plausible.io:

• Primer sessions started and completed
• Mode selected (Lock in or Read)
• Focus block started, completed, or ended
• Block length selected (25, 45, or 60 minutes)

No personal information, browsing history, page content, or URLs are included.

Local storage

Preferences, active session state, completion counts, streaks, and logged minutes are stored locally on your device via Chrome's storage API. Your reps do not leave your machine.

Third-party services

When analytics are enabled, we use Plausible.io — a privacy-focused analytics service with no cookies and no personal data collection.
